FAQ’s
Below you’ll find answers to frequently asked questions. However, feel free to contact me for details or answers that aren’t provided here.
What services do you offer?
To summarize, I offer graphic design and commercial photography services. However, details can be found on the services page.
How much do your services cost?
Pricing depends on a project’s specifications and as a result it’s difficult (if not impossible) to provide an accurate estimate without knowing at least some details about your specific project. If you’d like to request a quote, the best option would be to contact me to discuss your needs.
What are your payment terms?
A 50% deposit is due once the project agreement has been accepted and must be received and cleared before work begins; the terms for payment of the balance depends on the length of the project. However, 100% of the invoice is due before work begins for rush projects. Payment terms are provided in detail in the project agreement and invoice. Payments can be made by check, bank tranfer, or PayPal.
Do you offer discounts or match competitor pricing?
Unfortunately, given the nature of graphic design and photography I do not offer discounts or price matching. However, if your needs exceed your current budget, we could work together to prioritize your needs or adjust the specs of the project to get within range of your budget.
Can we work together if my company is based outside of New York City?
Location is not much of an issue for design projects as much of the communication can take place via internet, email, phone, etc. Actually, while I can be reached through a variety of methods, phone and email communication tends to be most efficient for the majority of design projects.
How long do projects take to complete?
Depending on the complexity, photography projects would take a few weeks (from the shoot date to printing/completed processing) and design projects would typically take a few weeks to a few months.
Who owns the final deliverables?
Ownership of the final deliverables transfers to the client once the final payment has been received.
Do I need permission to use content from this website somewhere else?
With proper attribution you can use a few lines (2-3 sentences) of text as a quote or refer to photos and design projects for discussion purposes. However, you must request permission before re-publishing posts or case studies elsewhere. If see something you’d like to use but you’re unsure of it can be used somewhere else refer to the Terms of Use or contact me to request permission.
How do you pronounce your last name?
Most likely you’ll never have to call me by my last name but in case you’re curious its pronounced: Mick-eck-run.
